Battlefield 2042 Battlehub Details Leaked
The details for Battlefield 2042 new game mode, the Battlehub, have been leaked. Previously, this game mode was kept under strict wraps by EA, appearing as [REDACTED] on the official website. It still appears that way on there, with a promise that they will reveal more on July 22nd: “Tune in to EA PLAY live on July 22 and watch the reveal of this love letter to Battlefield fans and long-time players, developed by DICE LA.” According to well-known industry insider and leaker Tom Henderson, this mod is going to be called Battlehub. We have all the details about this leak right here.
What is the Battlefield 2042 Battlehub
According to Tom Henderson: “Battlefield Hub is going to be the ultimate sandbox experience, and is going to be the fun game mode when it comes to Battlefield 2042.” Since his recent leaks have turned out to be true, odds are good that he is correct concerning the Battlehub as well. He continues to say that he doubts that this mode will be particularly balanced, though it will “contain remasters of old maps from old Battlefield titles.”
Henderson continues “Specialists will also be moving over to the Battlefield Hub.” As we already know, Battlefield 2042 will have up to 128 players, or up to 64 players, depending on the platform. He adds: “This to me confirms as well that this Battlefield Hub will be coming on both past and current-gen consoles.” Finally, he thinks that Battlehub “will be updated with the Battle Pass Seasons that will also be coming to 2042, so I’m guessing that new weapons, new vehicles, new maps will be coming to the Battlefield Hub, from previous games, every time the season changes.”
Of course, this is all just pure speculation at this point. We will be able to confirm – or deny – all of this info on July 22nd.
