Apex Legends Skull Town Map Might Be Coming Back

The official Apex Legends Twitter account is either trolling their audience, or they’re preparing to return a fan-favorite POI to the game some time soon. In a very recent post, they wrote simply “What if we brought back Skull Town” next to a cute ASCII art image of a dude looking around the corner. The tweet is just vague enough that it can swing either way: they might just be testing the waters to feel the pulse of the fanbase, or they’ve already decided they’re bringing Skull Town back to Apex Legends. Or they’re just messing around. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Return of Skull Town to Apex Legends Teased

If you’re an avid Apex Legends player and have been missing Skull Town, you might be in luck. If a recent tweet from the game’s account is to be believed, they might be bringing it back at some point, maybe even in the very near future. The place used to be a pretty popular dropping point for a while, as I understand it, until the devs removed it last year. And why not? If nothing else, there aren’t many things cooler than a desert village in the shadow of a gigantic skeleton.

Now, as I’ve intimated up top, a single tweet like this is not necessarily a real sign of things to come. The only way we’ll know for sure is to wait and see. For now, it’s interesting to just look at the responses to the post. Most people seem to be quite enthusiastic about the prospect. However, there are several dissenting voices, which the others seem to be shutting up quite quickly. so, if Respawn was trying to gauge the feelings of the player base towards the return of Skull Town to Apex Legends, they have a resounding “yes.”
