Marionette Core Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact Marionette Core is a new material that you can farm from a specific boss, and the game tells you it’s a level-up material, meaning you’ll need it for the ascension of one of the characters. The catch is that the game doesn’t tell you which one, and it doesn’t seem to work on anybody that’s currently in the game. That really leaves one option, right? Well, if you’re still confused, keep reading this guide. In it, we’ll show you how to get the Marionette Core, and which characters use it.

How to Get Marionette Core in Genshin Impact

To get the Marionette Core in Genshin Impact, you have to battle and defeat Maguu Kenki, the world boss found in the center of Golden Apple Archipelago. You can’t do this until you play through the content and reach Act 3, or Day 3, as many of you Travelers call it. If you need some advice on how to beat this boss, we’ve got two guides for you to check out – Maguu Kenki Boss Location & How to Defeat and Long-Range Attack Can Trigger Maguu Kenki’s Mask Parry. The mechanical samurai drops a ton of valuable rewards. To farm Marionette Core specifically, you have to keep defeating Maguu Kenki on Level 30+. It’s far from the most difficult version you can face, but still, be careful.

Which Characters Use the Marionette Core

At this time, we don’t know for certain which characters use the Marionette Core. However, the consensus among the player base is that it’s for Kazuha. There’s still some time before the Kazuha Banner release date, so you might want to stock up on Genshin Impact Marionette Core as much as you can until then. We don’t know exactly how many of these will be required for Kazuha’s ascension (if the core even is for him), but I’ve seen something about needing forty-six of them to get the character to level 90. However, I can’t confirm that at this point. While we’re on the subject, don’t forget that you’ll also need Sea Ganoderm to ascend Kazuha.
