Battlefield 2042 has been announced, and as is always the case in these situations, the dedicated player base wants to know as many details as possible, such as pre-order bonuses, the content of special editions, the prices, etc. As usual, there’s several special editions that go up in price, but also in content they offer. Battlefield 2042 Pre-Order Bonuses & Standard Edition Price
The Standard Edition of Battlefield 2042 comes with nothing but the game, unless you pre-order it and get the bonuses. Of course, you’ll also get all the free updates along with everyone else. The price of the Standard Edition is the usual $60. If you do pre-order the game, you’ll get access to the early Open Beta and be able to start playing early, on October 15th. On top of that, you’ll receive the Pre Order Pack, which includes a knife, a weapon charm, a player card background, and a tag, as listed below.

Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition Contents & Price
The price of the Gold Edition of Battlefield depends on where you get it, but the contents remain the same. On most platforms, it’ll cost $100, except on Origin ($90) and GameStop ($110). As for what you’re going to get in this edition, it includes everything from the previous one (including the pre-order bonuses if you pre-purchase the game). On top of that comes the Year 1 Pass Pack, aka the paid updates. These will include specialists, battle passes, and skin bundles, as detailed below. Basically, this covers you for four seasons of content.

Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Edition Contents & Price
The Ultimate Edition of Battlefield comes with the most content, but for the highest price. It’ll set you back $110 on PC (via Origin, of course) and $120 on consoles. When it comes to content, the Ultimate Edition comes with the Year 1 Pass Pack, all the pre-order bonuses if you choose to pre-purchase the game, a digital artbook and soundtrack, and the Midnight Ultimate Bundle to top it off. It comes with a legendary outfit, weapon skin, and vehicle skin, as you can see below. Is it worth double the price of the Standard Edition? That’s up to you.
