Fortnite Collect Stone from Aftermath
Collect Stone from Aftermath is one of the challenges you’ll have to complete in Chapter 2 Season 7 in Fortnite, aka Invasion. The task itself is pretty simple on its face; all you have to do is go to this Aftermath and mine for stone, right? Well, yes, but there’s more to it. For one, you need to know where to find the Aftermath location in Fortnite. Even when you’ve got that figured out, you can’t gather all the stones present, only some of them. Fortnite Aftermath Location
The Aftermath location in Fortnite where you mine stone from is in the very dead center of the map. If you look at the new map, you’ll see a large, circular body of water surrounded by purple. That’s where you need to go in order to Collect Stone from Aftermath in Fortnite. Once you get there, you’ll basically see the remains of the alien attack that you might have seen if you watched the Season 7 trailer. It’s covered in weird, purple stuff, and has a bunch of gnarly, blue trees growing all around. Is this some sort of infection that will keep swallowing the map as the season goes on? Maybe, but that’s not our concern right now.
How to Collect Stone from Aftermath in Fortnite
To collect stone from Aftermath in Fortnite, you simply have to mine the rocks on the bank of the “lake” in the center of Aftermath. The bizarre stone formations inside the water itself are, unfortunately, not available for mining. It’s only the round boulders around the edge of the water, as you can see in the image at the top of the guide. It will only take a few minutes, but be careful; a ton of people are going to be trying to explore the area at the same time.
