Robot Pirate Armor Set Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart
The Robot Pirate Armor Set is one of a number of different armors that you can find scattered across the game. As is the case with all the others, Robot Pirate has three pieces; a helmet, a chest piece, and boots. Each part is on a different planet, but fortunately, two out of the three are unmissable. The third one, though, makes things a little tricky. So in our Robot Pirate Armor Set Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart guide, we’ll show you where to find the helmet, chest and boots, as well as how to get them.
How to Get Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Robot Pirate Leg Armor
To get the Robot Pirate Armor Set legs in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, you just have to push far enough through the main story. Specifically, you have to play until Rivet and Clank arrive on Scarstu Debris Field. Follow the main quest until you enter the Gastropub. Go left and sit at the bar to talk to Zurkie. After some back and forth with a new character called Pierre, you’ll find yourself applying to enter the arena. The first task here is to survive several waves of enemies, after which you’ll unlock the Robot Pirate legs, and then fight a boss. So, yeah, this armor piece is pretty much unmissable.
Where to Find Robot Pirate Armor Set Chest in Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart
The chest part of the Rift Apart Robot Pirate armor set is the hardest to get out of the bunch, but still nothing too bad. Go to Savali and look for a floating UFO-like thing that’s doing laps around the east of the map (the armor icon on the map). What you have to do here is use your rocket boots to keep up with the UFO and follow it around as closely as possible. Eventually, the lap will take you across speed boost pads that will help you catch up. Once you close the distance sufficiently, you’ll be able to rappel onto the UFO, so hit that L1 as soon as the prompt appears. All that’s left to do after that is step on the big green button at the back of the flying saucer to stop it and unlock the armor pod.
Rift Apart Robot Pirate Armor Set Helmet Location
The helmet of the Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart Robot Pirate is pretty much unmissable, like the legs. Play through the game until you reach the pirate base on Ardolis. You’ll have to complete several trials once you get there in order to proceed, but it’s all a part of the main story and nothing too hard. When you reach the final trial, you’ll have to fight a few waves of enemies, culminating in a boss battle against Crabcakes McGee. After that’s over with, you have to turn the big screw in the middle of the patch of sand to open your way forward. As soon as you rappel over to solid ground, you’ll get the armor pod pretty much immediately. By the way, this is also where you can find one of the Craiggerbear locations.
