Character Customization Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart character customization lets you change the looks of the characters indirectly. By that, I mean you can equip different armor pieces and change their colors. Of course, you have to find the armors first, but that’s a matter for a different guide. In here, we’re going to be explaining how character customization works in Rift Apart.
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Character Customization – How to Customize Looks
As we’ve mentioned in the introduction, character customization in Rift Apart revolves entirely around finding the various armor pieces strewn around the game. There is no way to change the looks of Rivet or Ratchet or Clank directly, but there are eight different armor sets that you can collect. Each of them has three components – Head, Chest, and Boots. Collecting and equipping an entire set gives you a relatively minor bonus against specific enemies, which is neat, but more importantly, they look really cool.
On top of all of that, the armors have different color pallets that you can mix and match across the three components. Want a yellow helmet, orange pants, and a pink chest piece for whatever reason? You absolutely can. If that’s not enough for you, there’s also the option to mix and match pieces from different sets. You won’t have the bonuses a full set grants you, but you’ll look amazing.
That’s basically all there is to the character customization in Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart – don the various armor pieces and paint them how you want. Like we’ve said, you have eight armor sets to play round with, such as the Robot Disguise, Galactic Ranger, Robot Pirate, Carbonox, and others. My personal favorite is definitely the pirate one, because of the skull motif, but it’s also hard to resist the dopey face of the Robot Disguise.
