Hearthstone Announced New Mini-Set The Wailing Caverns
There’s a new mini-set coming to Hearthstone, called The Wailing Caverns. It’s launching on June 3rd, and you’ll be able to get all of the thirty-five unique cards from Forged in the Barrens card packs. Alternatively, you can purchase the full set of sixty-six cards from the in-game or web shop, for either Gold or real-life money. So, let’s go into some more detail together, shall we?
Wailing Caverns Hearthstone Mini-Set Details
When it comes to the details of the upcoming Wailing Caverns Hearthstone Mini-Set, the description of the YouTube video tells you basically all you need to know. It reads: “This Forged in the Barrens Mini-Set, launching worldwide on June 3, consists of 35 distinct cards that can all be obtained from Forged in the Barrens card packs! The entire 66-card set (4 Legendary cards, 1 Epic card (x2), 14 Rare cards (x2), and 16 Common cards (x2)) is also available for purchase from the in-game or web shop, for either $14.99 or 2000 Gold!”
If you’re not a World of Warcraft player, you might not know where the idea for The Wailing Caverns comes from. It’s actually a fairly famous dungeon from the Barrens zone (hence why the set is a part of Forged in the Barrens). The dungeon itself was a huge and fairly non-linear network of caves brimming with all sorts of mutants and other horrors. Let it never be said that druid spells can’t cause some serious mayhem, especially if they go very, very wrong.
