How to Fix Slig Stops Moving Bug in Oddworld Soulstorm

To fix the Oddworld Soulstorm bug where a Slig stops moving, you have to get their attention in some manner. Basically, you want to make them panic and, hopefully, that will reset their path. You can throw something at them, for example. Or, you can hang off a cliff to alert them, then quickly clamber back up before they hit you. Another thing you can try is chant or make some kind of noise to snap them out of it. Their patrol loop should go back to normal through any of these actions. If none of these work, you will unfortunately have to restart from the last checkpoint.

What happens when this glitch triggers is, an alerted Slig will stop dead in its tracks, staring into one spot. This bug is pretty serious, since more often than not, the Slig will be covering the path that you have to take in order to progress. Sometimes, you might luck out, and it’ll get stuck looking the wrong way. In that case, I recommend just leaving it be. Otherwise, use the tips above to fix the Slig stops moving bug in Oddworld Soulstorm.
