The main issue is figuring out where to find the rock lizard, since the it’s very small, and therefore hard to spot. We found the rock lizard location and took a picture of it for the Endemic Life Request in Monster Hunter Rise near the Shrine Ruins area. Specifically, we found it in the craggy area a little bit to the south of the area, between the numbers 12 and 11 on the map. It was literally just out in the open, on one of the “mountains.” While the lizard is fairly easy to spot against the rocks, since it’s bright and purplish-blue, you can still easily miss it, because it is really small. I recommend you consult the screenshots below to see exactly where we’ve found it.

Mind you, there might be other locations, too. Feel free to share your experiences below; the more potential spawn points we have, the easier it will be for all of us. Anyways, wherever you find the rock lizard, open the camera and snap a picture of it, then go back to base. Talk to Senior Hunter Hanenaga, and hand in the quest.
