Monster Hunter Rise Well Done Steak Request - How to Cook
One of the first delivery requests you’ll get in Monster Hunter Rise is Elder Fugen’s Errand. In it, the elder asks you to bring him a well-done steak. In return, he’ll give you ten potions. If you’re new to the series, you might be wondering how to get such a steak. There are two ways to do it, and our Monster Hunter Rise well-done steak request guide will show you both and explain how to cook.
How to get well-done steak?
As we’ve mentioned, there are two ways to get a well-done steak. One is free, but there’s a chance of failure. The other costs either money or points, but is guaranteed to succed. Both require a piece of raw meat, which is used up in the process.
If you’re willing to gamble, you can do it via the cooking minigame. Once you’re out on the field, look for a roasting spit in your action bar. Use it, and your hunter will put a piece of meat on the spit and start roasting it on an open fire. A short song will play, and you’ll have to stop roasting at the correct moment, or else you’ll end up with a burnt steak.
Since this takes a lot of practice, you’ll probably want to use the second method – especially if you’re new to the series. The second method involves going to the canteen at Kamura village – look for a Palico in a hollowed out tree with purple flowers. Talk to the cook and select the Motley Mix option, then pick the raw meat. You’ll have to pay either 65z or 25 points, but the cook can make no mistake.
Once you have the well-done steak, you’ll have to bring it to Elder Fugen, and he’ll give you your potions.
