Watch Dogs Legion Cloud Save Doesn't Work
Watch Dogs Legion cloud saves allow you to save your progress on a server somewhere, move it arround different devices, and even carry it over to another console generation. They’re a great idea on paper, but there are issues. Lately, a number of folks have been complaining about not being able to either upload or download their cloud saves. It’s a nasty problem that’s stopping folks from continuing their journey. If you’re affected by it, this guide will show you what to do when Watch Dogs Legion cloud save doesn’t work.
Watch Dogs Legion cloud save won’t upload or download
The issue manifests itself in two ways – most people can’t download or upload their saves from and to the cloud. If it’s uploading you’re worried about, the workaround is easy. Grab a USB flash drive, put the save files onto it and transfer them over to the new device by hand.
If you’re playing on a console, you’ll find them in the same place all save data is kept. We’ve heard it even works between generations, so you might have luck with this method if you’re looking to transfer the save from a, say, PS4 to a PS5. If you’re on PC, look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\[user ID]\3353.
If you don’t have a local copy of the save data and you want to download it from the cloud, you’re out of luck. There’s no way around this at the moment, but the good news is that Ubisoft’s support is aware of this and they’re working on a fix as we speak. You’ll just have to have a bit more patience, and the issue will be resolved.
We’ll keep an eye on the matter, and if there’s any more developments, we’ll update this guide, so stay tuned.
