Figuring out where to find Valheim silver veins is necessary for a number of reasons, not least of which is crafting certain types of armor and other useful items. Where to Find Valheim Silver Ore – Silver Vein Locations
To find Silver Ore location in Valheim, you have to look for silver veins in the Mountains biome. The problem is that the silver veins can be anywhere, and you’ll just have to explore and comb through the area until you come across them. To make things worse, the ore is sometimes deep underground, so the odds are severely stacked against you. Plus, the whole time, you’ll be battling the elements, because the temperatures in the mountains is commonly freezing. Fortunately, there are some things you can do to make the search easier.
The first thing is to defeat the Bonemass boss in the Swamp biome. You summon it by placing ten Withered Bones on the Skull altar. When you beat it, you’ll get the Wishbone, which acts as a kind of metal detector. To be exact, when using it, it glows green and beeps when you’re standing above hidden treasure. It helps you know where to dig. Mind you, the treasure won’t necessarily be a silver vein, but it’s always worth a shot.
The second thing you need to do to find Silver Ore locations in Valheim is to prepare yourself for cold weather. Stock up on materials for campfires and use them as checkpoints.
