Detonate Grenade in Cyberpunk 2077 is a quickhack that you can obtain in the game, and it’s tied to the Daemon in the Shell achievement. So, naturally, people are wondering about where to find Detonate Grenade in Cyberpunk 2077. Not only is it tied to getting a trophy, but it’s also an fund and useful hack to have in general. I mean, it makes the enemy detonate their own grenade, potentially damaging their allies in the process. Where to Find Detonate Grenade Cyberpunk 2077 Quickhack?
You can find the Cyberpunk 2077 Detonate Grenade quickhack by defeating netrunners and hoping that they drop the hack. They are not a 100% guaranteed drop, so you might have to do a bit of farming. This is a fairly easy task; all you have to do is kill the netrunners, check the bodies for Detonate Grenade, then run away and come back. The enemies will respawn, so rinse and repeat until you get what you need. There are two handy locations in Coastview, Pacifica that we’ve found to be good farming places; check out the images below to see where to go.
The second way to obtain the Detonate Grenade quickhack in Cyberpunk is to craft it, of course. The only downside to this is that it requires quite a bit of point expenditure on your end. By that I mean, you’re gonna need an Intelligence score of 16, for one. Then, head over to your Quickhack perks and purchase Hacker Overlord in the bottom left corner. This will allow you to craft Epic Quickhacks. Now, go into the quickhacks section of the Crafting menu and find Detonate Grenade.
How to Use Detonate Grenade Quickhack in Cyberpunk 2077 – Daemon in the Shell Achievement
You use the Detonate Grenade quickhack in Cyberpunk 2077 as you would any other similar quickhack. Just zero in on an enemy, and check out the available quickhacks on the left. Select Detonate Grenade, and watch the chaos unfold. However, the downside is that this particular hack requires a lot of RAM. The exact amount varies from enemy to enemy, but the cost is always 10+. So, you’re gonna have to install an OS that gives you access to a high amount of quickhack RAM, such as Stephenson Tech MK.4.
As for the Daemon in the Shell achievement, you get it by killing or incapacitating three enemies with one Detonate Grenade quickhack. The easiest way to do that is to find a gang battle by driving around the city, and then detonate it when there’s a bunch of people in a group.
