Beast in Me Kill or Spare Sampson in Cyberpunk 2077 - How to Get Beast

Cyberpunk 2077 Beast in Me quest has a choice to either kill or spare Sampson, which will determine whether or not you get the Mackinaw Beast truck at the end. You can mess things up relatively easily if you get greedy at one point, or simply miss a turn by accident. So, you have to be very careful about what you do in Claire’s Sampson choice if you want to obtain her Mackinaw Beast vehicle. Kill or Spare Sampson in Cyberpunk 2077 Beast in Me Quest?

Whether you decide to end Sampson’s life or spare him in the Beast in Me quest in Cyberpunk 2077 will determine how the ending of the quest is going to play out, and (SPOILERS) whether Claire will let you have her Mackinaw Beast truck at the end. After you complete the race in Santo Domingo, you’ll have an emotional conversation with Claire. You should listen to everything she has to say.

At the tail end, you’ll get a choice between several options. These are “Bastard won’t finish the race alive,” “My priority’s winning,” and “Sorry, Claire, but I can’t help.” Obviously, it’s up to your moral compass what you think you should choose here. However, if you want to get the Mackinaw Beast in Cyberpunk 2077, make sure to tell Claire that Sampson won’t finish the race alive. Interestingly, even during the final race, you’ll still have a chance to change your mind. More on that in the next section.

How to Get Mackinaw Beast Vehicle in Cyberpunk 2077?

To get the Mackinaw Beast truck in Cyberpunk 2077, after you tell Claire that you will help her end Sampson, start the final race and make sure to stay on Sampson’s tail throughout the whole thing. Eventually, after the twenty-fifth checkpoint, he’ll take a right turn off the highway where the actual track continues forwards to the twenty-sixth checkpoint. If you want the Mackinaw, follow him. You won’t get it if you instead opt to finish the race.

Once Sampson crashes, Claire and you will corner him. From here on, you’re basically done. You can stay Claire’s hand temporarily to hear his side of the story, but no matter what you choose, Clair we’ll shoot him. Even if you tell her to let Sampson go, his fate is sealed. After the deed is done, accept Claire’s offer to give you a ride. At the end, she’ll walk off into the night, never to race again, and will leave her beloved Cyberpunk 2077 Mackinaw Beast to you.
