Cyberpunk 2077 How to Holster Weapon
Holstering your weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 is a relatively minor mechanic, but is still one that you want to “master.” You don’t want to find yourself with a gun in your hand when you’re trying to negotiate peacefully, or if the long arm of the law is just about to grab you by the neck. However, with the barrage of info the game presents at the very beginning, you might miss the info telling you about holstering weapons in CP2077. How to Holster Weapon in Cyberpunk 2077?
To holster your weapon in CP2077 or Cyberpunk 2077, there are two things that you can do. The first one is to double-tap the button that you use to draw the weapon on your platform. On PC, you have to double-tap Alt by default. if you want to change that, hit Escape and go into Settings, and then Key Bindings. Scroll down to Cycle Weapon and change it to whatever you want.
On Xbox, it’s double-tapping Y. Last, but certainly not least, double-tap Triangle on PlayStation. At least, that’s how it should be with the default configuration; your mileage may vary if you’ve been playing around with the setup prior to booting the game. But yeah, long story short, double-tap the button that you use to draw the weapon.
Another way to holster your weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 is a bit more roundabout, but works just the same. Press and hold your Draw Weapon button (again, Alt on PC, Y on Xbox, Triangle on PlayStation) to bring up the weapon wheel. Move the cursor to the right, towards the icon of the gun with a line through it. If you select that, you’ll holster the weapon. It’s definitely the long way around to go about this, but, well, it certainly is an option. Up to you how you approach the situation.
By the way, don’t feel bad if you haven’t been able to figure out how to holster your weapon in Cyberpunk 2077 or CP2077 on your own.
