Nioh 2 How to Get Core Score Trophy / Achievement?

To get the Core Score trophy in Nioh 2, you have to purify a Soul Core. Now, first off, how does one get Soul Cores? Well, they drop from a variety of powerful Yokai, especially boss Yokai, like Mezuki. Once you have a Soul Core, take it to a Shrine and purify it. Once you do, you’ll be able to attune it and use it to your advantage, since Soul Cores are instrumental in giving you new and improved Yokai abilities. Just keep in mind that you won’t get the trophy when you get the Core, only when you purify it.

Another method of purifying Soul Cores that we’ve come across is simply completing the mission. The first Soul Core we got was by defeating Mezuki. We then finished the mission, and the Mezuki Soul Core was purified automatically. That’s how we got the Core Score Trophy ourselves. And speaking of Soul Cores, they are also necessary for obtaining the Kodama Soul Core and the Friend to the Kodama trophy. For more info on that, check out our Kodama Soul Core – How to Get in Nioh 2 – Friend to the Kodama Trophy guide.

We’ve got a number of other Nioh 2 guides for you to check out, including Kodama Locations in Forest Veiled In Darkness and Kodama Locations in Village of Cursed Blossoms. So, give those a gander if you need further assistance. And stay tuned, because there’s more guides coming.

Getting more skill points is always a priority, which is why we've written about locks of hair locations. If you're hunting rare soul cores, you'll probably want to know about the Mujina locations - finding them is tricky.
