Tarkov Hand Over Folder 0052 to Skier or Therapist

Give secure case for documents 0052 to Therapist or Skier?

Once you’ve obtained folder 0052, you’ll have to decide who’s going to be the recipient. At face value, picking the Skier is as no-brainer. He pays considerably more – more than double what the Therapist offers – but the true reason is that he’s a petulant child. If you turn him down, the hit to your reputation with him is going to be outrageous. Siding with him gives you +0.3 Skier reputation, while siding with the Therapist gives you -0.3 Skier reputation. You’d need a lot of time and effort to recover from that kind of hit.

Giving the documents to Skier will only result with -0.1 Therapist reputation, which isn’t as hard to recover from. Plus, you’ve already done a bunch of other quests for her, which means you can afford the hit there. Other than that, there’s no further impact to this choice, as far as we can tell.

The safest thing to do would be to wait until you’ve completed most of the other quests, so that you have a clearer view of the situation. You don’t want the negative reputation to lock you out of new items and upgrades, so if you sit on the choice a while longer, you’ll be able to make an informed decision. You’re probably going to pick the Skier either way, but if you’re not that strapped for cash, it pays to be patient.
