February 2020 PS Plus Free Titles are Bioshock Collection & Sims 4

The free games PlayStation Plus subscribers will get in February 2020 have been revealed. And, quite honestly, it’s a pretty good haul. Technically, instead of getting just two games, you’re getting four; five, if you also own PS VR. The games are Bioshock: The Collection (which has three games plus DLCs), The Sims 4, and the bonus Firewall Zero Hour for VR. Like I said, pretty good stuff.

Bioshock doesn’t need any introduction. It’s one of the most popular franchises in gaming, and quite deservedly so. It explores some very deep, political themes through really well-written characters packed together with tight and interesting gameplay. Best of all, Bioshock: The Collection contains all three games from the franchise (Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite), along with their respective DLCs, like Minerva’s Den in Bioshock 2 and Burial at Sea in Infinite. It’s more than three-in-one, and you’re getting it for free.

When it comes to The Sims 4, I doubt it needs much introducing, either. You get to play out the lives of your Sim, or family of Sims. Then, eventually, when you get bored, you start looking for creative ways to kill them. And this promotion is just in time for the twentieth birthday of the franchise. I guess playing The Sims 4 for free is a fair enough way to celebrate the occasion.

Ah, but that’s not all. This February, you also get a bonus game: Firewall Zero Hour. It’s PS VR exclusive, so, if you don’t own one of those, you’re gonna have to give this one a pass. Those of you that do own a PS VR, listen up. Firewall Zero Hour is a 4v4 tactical shooter, and it’s new season, Operation: Black Dawn, begins on February 4th. It’ll feature a new map for all players, as well as other free content. And you’ll be just in time to dive straight in.
