Escape From Tarkov is in beta, which means bugs and errors are to be expected. There’s loads of tiny problems that don’t really get in the way, but there are also several big ones which are causing a lot of grief in the player base. This guide is going to show you a list of the most common and egregious Escape From Tarkov bugs – no shoot, out of stock, insurance error – and how to fix and avoid them when possible.
No shoot bug stops you from shooting
Some players have reported experiencing a nasty issue that stops them from shooting their weapons. The only surefire way to get around this is by logging out of the game, then back in. Some say looting a container or getting shot helped them, but logging out is really the only way to be sure.
Out of Stock – bugged flea market offers
A number of folks have complained about having an item stuck in the flea market after they’ve sold it. It just blocks a slot, with the remove option and out of stock message overlapping. This only seems to happen when people buy your weapon mods from the presets menu, and there doesn’t seem to be a solution. Luckily, according to recent reports, it goes away in about 12 hours, so you won’t have to wait all the way until expiration.
There’s another flea market but related to out of stock items – buyers are complaining about not being able to filter them from the results. Nobody likes to scroll down pages of items that aren’t there anymore. There’s a way around this one as well: click the gear icon in the flea market. Change the 0 to a 1 under quantity, and when you apply the changes, everything should work fine./p>
Insurance returns error
If you’re having trouble reclaiming your stuff from insurance when you die, constantly getting the item moving error, there’s only one thing you can do. Use the “receive all” option, and everything will work out swimmingly.
Unable to reconnect to the game
If you’re getting kicked off servers, followed by being unable to reconnect, there’s not much you can do aside from waiting. Once the raid you were booted from ends, you’ll be able to continue playing, but not a minute sooner.
