How to Get Devil’s Ruin Exotic Sidearm in Destiny 2?
To get the Devil’s Ruin exotic sidearm in Destiny 2, the first step is to complete one Sundial Run. Once you do, pick up the exotic quest “A Moment in Time” from the prize pool. The first step is to go and talk to Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar. This will advance the quest further. Next, head to the EDZ and pick up the quest “Parts Long Lost” in the bottom left corner of the map. You’ll have to find ten Timelost Fragments, by finding Redjack droids in Twilight Gap. We’ll get into more detail about that in the next segment. It’s not difficult; the area is fairly small, so there’s only so many places that you can hide a chunky droid. Anyways, once you find all ten, you’ll get the Devil’s Ruin exotic sidearm.
Where to Find Timelost Fragments – Twilight Gap Destiny 2 Redjack Locations
The first Timelost Fragment Redjack in Twilight Gap is right around the large rock that’s in front of you when the mission starts. Then, fly up to the edge of the long, rusty beam to find the second Timelost Fragment.
From the previous location, walk across the beam and drop to the left to find Redjack #3. Then, turn around and to the left and fly towards the tower. Go inside, and take a left at the yellow cargo elevator to find the fourth droid around the corner.
For Timelost Fragment 5, head forward from the previous droid and fly up to the platform higher up and find the Redjack in the transport crate. Then, turn around, drop down, and head left towards the rusty staircase. The robot is going to be in the doorway to the left of the bottom of the stairs.
Next up, head up the stairs and go into the building. Head towards the two corridors with yellow lights. They both go into the same room. Go down the stairs, then drop down the platform. Turn around, and there’s the robot. Turn to the right and go to the big ole cannon. The Redjack and the Timelost Fragment are at the base of said cannon.
Almost there now. Walk around the cannon, climb up the stairs, and head to the right. You’ll spot the droid inside a room with a low ceiling. Walk out of the room where you came in, turn back to the doorway, and fly up to the level above. There’s a huge package there (get your mind out of the gutter). Go around it until you find the droid. Once you have all ten Timelost Fragments, you’ll have to wait for the dialogue between Osiris and Saint-14 to wrap up before you get the Devil’s Ruin.
Devil’s Ruin Pyrogenesis Perk – How to Use?
To use the Devil’s Ruin Pyrogenesis Perk, you have to use the Close the Gap staggering laser. Press and hold the trigger and fully charge the laser in order to refill your magazine from reserves. This only pays off the less ammo you have in the magazine. Basically, once you activate the laser, it uses up all fifteen bullets from the mag. However, if you fully charge it, you’ll fire off the full fifteen, even if you have just one bullet. You will have to reload afterwards, and it does deplete your reserves, but it can effectively double your magazine in a pinch. Plus, the laser does more damage, so you really get your money’s worth.
No Reload Devil’s Ruin Exploit in Destiny 2 – How to Use?
To use the Devils’ Ruin no reload exploit, you have to press and hold the fire button to activate the laser, and then let go just before it charges fully and starts shooting. If you pull it off properly, the fully-charged laser will fire, and you’ll still have a full magazine when it’s over without reloading, or even losing any bullets. It’s basically an infinite ammo exploit, as long as you perform the steps correctly. The trick is to get the timing down; it’s very touch and go. However, once you do figure it out, you’re gonna become a buzzsaw on the battlefield.
