With that in mind, we’re gonna show you how to get Halo Reach armor customization, how to earn season points, and more in our How to Unlock Armor Customization in Halo Reach guide.
Halo Reach Armor Customization – How to Unlock?
To unlock armor customization in Halo Reach, you have to play online multiplayer and raise your global rank. You can raise your rank by playing multiplayer via matchmaking, aka PvP, or by playing Firefight, which is a multiplayer PvE mode. Ranking up rewards you with season points, which you can spend on all kinds of stuff. For example you can spend them on armors, armor effects, nameplates, Firefight voices, etc. Later seasons are also going to bring in profile items and other unlockables.
So, yeah, you’re gonna have to play multiplayer if you want to unlock Halo Reach armor customization. This has already started miffing some people on Steam that, like me, don’t like nor want to play multiplayer. Further down the pipeline, the game will introduce challenges that will also reward you with season points, but I’m not sure whether they will be a part of the multiplayer, or if some will be unlockable in single player. I wouldn’t bank on that, however.
