Pokemon Sword & Shield Change Color of the Camp Tent
Changing your tent camp color in Pokemon Sword is a fairly minor mechanic in the game that, well, let’s you change the color of your tent when you camp. I don’t think that changing your Pokemon Sword & Shield tent color has any effect on the game, but it’s a neat little feature to play around with. So, let’s take a look at where and how you can change your tent color in Pokemon SwSh in our Pokemon Sword & Shield Change Color of the Camp Tent guide.
How to Change Camp Tent Color in Pokemon Sword & Shield?
To change your tent color in Pokemon Sword and Shield, you’ll have to locate one specific NPC. As far as I can tell, his name is Camping King, but his name is ultimately unimportant. You’ll find this guy in East Lake Axewell, at the base of the long, somewhat spooky character. He’s the guy in the neon yellow clothes; he kinda sticks out like a sore thumb in the overall gloom of the area. And speaking of, you can come to East Lake Axewell by going south of Motostoke, through the wild lands.
Once you find the Camping King, speak to him. Then, select the “I want to change my tent color” option, obviously. The NPC will then change the color of your tent to what “goes well with your Pokemon.” What I mean by this is, the new color of your tent will match the Pokemon type of the Primary Pokemon in your party. In our case, the Primary Pokemon was Pikachu, so we got the “Electric type’s color.” If you want to get another color, I assume you have to change your Primary Party Pokemon, and then speak with the Camping King again.
I’m not entirely certain whether changing your tent color in Pokemon Sword & Shield has any effect on the game at all. But, at the very least, it’s a nifty little thing you can do just for the hell of it.
