How to beat cursed chest in bathroom?

In order to destroy the chest, you’ll first have to stun it. You can do this by throwing random debris found around the room at it. Once you see the stars rotating above it, approach and shine the darklight on it. It’ll open up and release a bunch of purple orbs into the room. Vacuum them all up and the chest will turn normal.

How to beat cursed garbage bin?

Similarly to the chest, you’ll first have to stun the cursed trash bin. You can do this by shooting it with the plunger, then sucking it in. When the circle is full, press A to smash the bin against the floor. Now shine the darklight onto it and wait for the purple orbs. Vacuum them up, and it’ll become just a regular garbage can.

If you take too long to defeat either of them, E. Gadd will call you up on the ghostphone and tell you to use the darklight. He’ll also mention that you have to stun them before using it, but he won’t mention how to do so. That part’s on you to discover (or read in a guide). They’re definitely not the hardest enemies you’ll run into, but dealing with them can be pretty frustrating, especially when you don’t know what you’re doing wrong.
