Gwent The Witcher Card Game Closed Beta Launches on iOS

The first taste of the mobile version of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is entering its Closed Beta. Only for iOS devices, though. If you want to join the game super-early, you should register on the game’s website as soon as possible, in order to increase the odds to get into the beta. The full version will launch in late October.

After a long time in various betas, Gwent: The Witcher Card Game launched on PC back on October 23rd, 2018. A few months later, on December 4th, 2019, it also launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Now, the time is approaching for the free-to-play card-collecting game to make its way to the mobile market. Specifically, the iOS version of Gwent is going to come out on October 29th, 2019. Before that, though, you’ll have the chance to have the chance to play the game in a closed beta, which starts this week.

Now, there’s one thing to keep in mind. Since this is a Closed Beta, access will be very limited. They’re gonna process applications as they come in, as they did back in the days of the first PC beta. what I’m saying is, if you want in on the fun, you should register as soon as possible. If you don’t know what Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is, let’s get you up to speed real quick. Basically, not entirely unlike Hearthstone, it’s a free-to-play game in which you collect cards, build your deck(s), and play against other people. However, that’s where the similarities stop. The mechanics of Gwent are much different, even now, after they’ve done their all to simplify it. Plus, the cards are all creatures from The Witcher universe. Overall, I definitely recommend giving it a shot, even though I really don’t like this genre of game.
