Borderlands 3 Lair of The Harpy - Stage Set Trap Door Puzzle Solution
Lair of the Harpy is a mission in Borderlands 3. It takes place in Jakobs Estate, where you have to solve a bunch of challenges in order to get the Eden-6 vault key. One of those steps involves opening up the trap door on the stage in the mansion’s theater. This is done by solving the stage set puzzle, which requires you to arrange the set decorations in a certain way. If you’re having trouble completing this objective, our Borderlands 3 Lair of The Harpy guide will show you how to do it.
How to open trap door in theater?
Following the quest marker will lead you into the projection booth. There, you will see a control panel with a button and three levers. When you press the button, you’ll activate the puzzle. The three levers will become operable, and you’ll be able to pull them in order to influence what happens on stage.
The clue to solving the puzzle is the poster on the floor, in front of the control panel. It’s a movie poster, but certain things on it are marked with a red sharpie – the explorer, the Borderlands logo and the word “ruins”. Predictably, the correct solution is to have those three on the stage at the same time.
This means you’ll have to pull the levers in the following order: left, right, right. Check the stage – the explorer should be on the left, the logo on the right, and the stone wall in the background represents the ruins. Press the button again and the trap door will open, letting you progress further in your quest for the vault key.
It’s not a difficult puzzle, but if you step on the poster without spotting it first, you might have a hard time. That is literally the only clue to the puzzle, so if you miss it, you won’t know what is expected of you.
