Madden NFL 20 How to Throw Touch Pass
Touch pass is a type of pass that you can perform in Madden NFL 20. In fact, you could throw touch passes in previous Madden games, too. However, people have been having trouble doing touch passes in Madden 20, and that’s because they’ve changed the button input. Naturally, this has been causing some confusion among series veterans. That being the case, let’s see how to perform a touch pass in Madden NFL 20.
How to Do Touch Pass in Madden NFL 20?
To perform a touch pass in Madden NFL 20, you have to hold R2 on PlayStation 4 / Right Trigger on Xbox One right before you throw the ball, and press the pass button. Yes, the developers have changed up the controls a little bit. As I understand it, it used to be tapping the button. Well, it isn’t anymore. Now, tapping is going to throw a lob pass. That can kinda mess up your entire game plan. Why exactly they felt they needed to change things up like this, I couldn’t tell you. But, well, there you go.
Now, this is not necessarily the end of the world, anyway. Apparently, the touch pass is a slow pass that you yeet over the linebacker. So, in essence, it’s kinda just a slower version of the lob, except, it doesn’t even really have the height of the lob. The action does have its place in the game, but is arguably not terribly useful in the first place. I’ve seen people calling it the worst pass in the game. In any case, if you need to do it, now you know how – R2 / RT just before you press the button to pass the ball.
Madden NFL 20 is officially coming out on August 2nd on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. If you purchase the Superstar or Ultimate Superstar Edition, you’ll be able to start playing on July 30th. On the other hand, those of you that are EA Access subscribers have had access to the game since July 24th.
