Harry Potter WU Brilliant Event Foundables, Tasks & Rewards

Brilliant events are timed events in Harry Potter Wizards Unite. They last for about five days, and during that time, there’s a set of unique challenges and tasks you can undertake, which give out unique rewards upon completion. They’re one of the sources of those rare restricted section books, and they’ll allow you to fill up new registry pages. Each event will be time-limited, and will give you the chance to complete new daily task, hunt brilliant foundables and complete new wizarding challenges using brilliant runestones you’ve obtained during the event. Doing stuff tied to the event will reward you with XP, gold, potions, new registry pages, restricted secion books and some cosmetic items. You’ll recognize the foundables by the purple glow they give off on the map.

Fantastic Flora & Fauna brilliant foundables

The Fantastic Flora & Fauna was the first brilliant event to take place in Wizards Unite, and it was available for five days during the beta. It started with a request from Hagrid to find some creatures that have escaped the Forbidden Forest. There were six new foundables in the event, and in order to run into the brilliant variant, you first had to find the regular one. They were:

• Unicorn
• Buckbeak
• Scorched Tree Stump
• Young Acromantula
• Salamander
• Snargaluff

The unicorn and buckbeak were pretty easy to find – they popped up on the map all the time. The rest were a bit tricky, though. The acromantula was a fortress battle reward when using the special event runestones. The snargaluff came from 7km portkeys (brilliant portkey portmanteaus). The tree stump and salamander could be obtained by completing research tasks from the event.

Flora & Fauna tasks & rewards

The tasks themselves are pretty standard – they’re either tied to doing the stuff you’d do either way, like visiting inns and picking up portmanteaus, or to doing other stuff from the event. This is where you’ll get most of your restricted section books, so make sure you take advantage of these.
