Rage 2 Wasteland Wizard Locations - Cheat Code Vendor
Wasteland Wizard is a vendor in Rage 2. This special merchant sells a bunch of interesting stuff, including cheat codes. From what we’ve heard from people with early copies, he won’t be easy to find. Some even report not seeing him after 20+ hours. If you want to enhance your experience with homing wingsticks or various voiceovers, you’ll want to hunt him down as soon as possible. This guide is going to show you all Rage 2 Wasteland Wizard locations.
Where to find Wasteland Wizard?
According to a tweet from the official Rage 2 twitter account, you’ll be able to find him “roaming the streets”. That’s pretty much all we have, apart from the image of his shop. It’s a tiny stall with balloons attached to the top – those balloons are probably going to make it a lot easier to spot while exploring the world.
Everything we know points towards him moving around, which means we’re going to list all the locations he appears in as we discover them. If you notice a location we haven’t listed here, feel free to drop us a line. The developers have also mentioned that the cheat codes will be on a rotation, which means he’s not going to keep the same stock forever. This means that actively keeping an eye out for him at all times isn’t such a bad idea.
So, like we’ve mentioned, there are several locations that the Wasteland Wizard flits between. One of the locations we’ve managed to find is near the center of the Broken Tract region, near a cliff northwest of the bandit den called The Edge. You can find the map of the location below. The thing to keep in mind is that it took us hours to find this one location, and there are several. So, the best option is to fly around in the Icarus until you spot the merchant. The icon with the wizard’s hat on the compass won’t appear until you’re practically right on top of the store.
He’ll sell you cheats in exchange for in-game currency, and the devs have been quick to mention you won’t be able to use real money to buy them. However, preordering the any edition of the game will automatically net you one, and getting the super fancy deluxe edition will grant you three more. That kinda sounds like spending real money to get cheats, but what the hell do I know?
