Origin Access Vault Gets Twelve More Star Wars Games
Star Wars fans that happen to use EA’s Origin Access vault now have access to twelve more games set in the galaxy far, far away. That’s, of course, in addition to the 20+ Star Wars games that were already there. The list of newly-added games includes the likes of Battlefront II (2005), Rogue Squadron 3D, Shadows of the Empire, X-Wing Alliance, Episode 1 Racer, and more.
Well, May 4th has come and gone, but that doesn’t mean that you have to stop enjoying Star Wars. And, the twelve classic Star Wars games that EA has added to their Origin Access vault is as good a way to keep the party in the cantina going as any. That is, of course, if you have to subscription to EA’s service. Both basic and premier subscribers will have access to these games, so you don’t have to pay out the nose.
The basic subscription is $5 a month, or $30 a year; a fairly solid deal. The premier subscription is $100 a year, but also gives you other perks, such as access to EA newest titles, often with early access. Now, that’s enough prattle, here’s the list of the twelve new Star Wars games you can play via the Origin Vault:

The news of these twelve Star Wars games coming to Origin Access happened pretty much parallel with Respawn announcing Jedi: Fallen Order gameplay at this year’s EA Play. Naturally, both announcements came just in time for May 4th, aka Star Wars day. It’s interesting to see EA firing on all cylinders with Star Wars. It could mean they’re pretty confident in what they’ve got with Fallen Order. We’ll just have to wait and see.
