Mortal Kombat 11 Team Battle Mode - How to Unlock Teamwork Trophy

Team Battle Mode is one of the game modes in Mortal Kombat 11. It allows you to play with other people cooperatively, but you first need to unlock it. You’ll have to follow a series of steps which aren’t necessarily intuitive. When you’re done, you’ll get the Teamwork achievement. How to unlock Team Battle Mode in MK11?

First of all, you’ll need to complete the four tutorial towers in the Towers of Time section of the Konquer menu. Once you’ve cleared them, you’ll gain access to the regular towers. These are on a rotation, and you’ll be looking for a boss tower. You’ll recognize it easily by the fact that consists of only one enemy. Select it, and once you’re on the Group Fight screen, select either the option to invite friends, or search for fighting buddies in the pool of random strangers willing to team up.

The best thing about this trophy is that you don’t even have to finish the fight. You’ll unlock the achievement as soon as the fight starts. This way, you’ll gain access to the new game mode even if you loose, which you probably will. Let’s face it, it’s probably going to be your first proper tower fight, and if you’re not a hardened veteran of the series, you might have trouble.

Once you’ve unlocked the new mode, you’ll be able to start it from the Konquest menu. It’ll allow you to play with other players and several characters in a team, with each win giving the survivor a slight boost in health. It’s a fun diversion, but it’s far from essential. Still, you get a trophy.
