How to Solve Launch Crashing Issue in World War Z on PC?

To solve the problem where World War Z crashes on PC when you try to launch it, there’s one thing you can try. Reddit user kronkdark has solved the problem by installing an older version of the Nvidia driver. Specifically, he went back to 391.35, and that has apparently fixed the issue for not just them, but for several others, as well. Some of the people ran benchmarks, and it all worked swimmingly. Hopefully, it’ll work for you, too.

That said, this solution has not worked for everybody. Unfortunately, it’s a bit of a toss-up, it seems. Whatever the problem lying behind World War Z crashing on PC when you start it up, it’s not necessarily connected to the Nvidia driver. But, really, you don’t have much to lose; might as well try rolling back the driver and see what happens. After all, there’s so many connection issues that you have to look forward to, which may or may not have been fixed by the developers in the meantime. World War Z is off to a rocky start, no doubt about that. I hope the game will be able to bounce back and live up to the potential.
