Division 2 Exotic Weapons - Liberty Pistol, Lullaby Shotgun, Ruthless Rifle
Exotic weapons in Division 2 are the rarest, most prestigious weapons you can have, and include the Liberty Pistol, the Lullaby Shotgun, the Ruthless Assault Rifle, and just a handful more. Getting Division 2 exotic weapons is not at all easy. Some are preorder bonuses, yes, but others require you to go through a lot of trouble. That said, they’re absolutely worth the effort. So, we’ve put together our Division 2 Exotic Weapons – Liberty Pistol, Lullaby Shotgun, Ruthless Rifle to showcase these weapons, explain what they do, and also give brief instructions on how to get them.
NOTE: This guide is a work in progress. We’ll keep updating it with more info as we discover it.
Exotic Weapons in The Division 2
Lullaby Shotgun – This weapon is a pre-order bonus, aka for those that jumped onto the Division 2 train even before it was in the station. Its talents are Lullaby (landing a melee attack after swapping to this weapon grants 35% bonus armor) and Evasive (while equipped, dodging reloads 1% of your current weapon’s magazine).
Ruthless Assault Rifle is also a pre-order bonus weapon, meaning that you can also find it once you reach the White House, if you’ve invested in The Division 2 early. This weapon’s talents are Binary Trigger (fires on trigger pull and release), and Brutality (While holstered, landing a shot has 5% chance to deal +20% damage as explosive). Also, it comes with a mod slot for an Optics Rail.
Liberty D50 Pistol is a powerful modified Desert Eagle that you’ll have to work really hard for. Click on the link at the start of this entry for more detailed instructions, but here’s the TL;DR. You have to complete the Capitol Hill stronghold, then do specific missions on Hard or higher difficulty to get all the components. Then, you have to take it back to the crafting table and make the gun. The better your bench, the higher your gear score.
The Talents we got were Liberty (gain 100% damage to hostile electronics, enemy weak points and hostile electronics highlighted when aiming), Blind Justice (after destroying weak point or hostile electronics, your next bullet deals +500% damage; if that kills an enemy, your magazine is refilled and grants +100% damage for entire clip), and Independence (while holstered, destroying weak points refills 20% of current weapon’s magazine).
Chatterbox Exotic P90 SMG is a fantastic sub-machine gun that you can find by completing various missions revolving around the Hyenas. Click the link for detailed instructions. The rifle’s Talents include Incessant Chatter (increases rate of fire for shots landed up to 60%), Blabbermouth (reloading five seconds after a kill grants 20% rate of fire when holstered), and Box Magazine (refills your magazine, as well as increases the magazine capacity up to 60).
The Merciless is an exotic rifle which comes with Binary Trigger, Guerilla Warfare and Brutality. It shoots a bullet both when you pull the trigger and release it. The first acts as a primer, the second a detonator. It seems like a great way to melt bosses, as primers can stack up to five times on a single target. It also gives you a chance to fire an explosive shot for +20% damage.
Sweet Dreams is an exotic shotgun with talents such as Sweet Dreams, Sandman and Evasive. It can stop enemies from healing and refill your ammo in the process, which makes it sound like a good fit for PvP.
