The ride has been a blast, but Spider-Man’s adventures on the PS4 are slowly coming to an end. The last of the three DLC episodes for the game, Silver Lining, is coming out on Friday, December 21st. It will revolve around the character Silver Sable, who’s on a mission to return the stolen Sable International tech. According to the announcement on PlayStation Blog, the DLC will feature “new missions, new and upgraded enemy and crime types, along with upgraded Hammerhead bases and storyline quests,” plus new trophies, challenges, etc.

The new DLC is also going to include new Spider Suits for you to obtain, one of which is the Into The Spiderverse suit. To be honest, it just looks like a fairly regular Spider-Man suit. The other two suits are the Cyborg Spider-Man, which looks really ace, and the Aaron Aikman armor suit (pictured above). You can check out what the suits look like by clicking the image below. Incidentally, you can pre-order Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse from PlayStation Store and get a voucher for The Silver Lining, a dynamic theme, and avatars, which will all unlock on December 21st.

If this whole thing sounds enticing to you, then you can get the Silver Lining DLC individually for $9.99. Or, you can purchase the Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps bundle, which includes all three DLC episodes. This is, of course, in case you haven’t purchased a higher-end edition of the game which includes the DLCs, such as the Digital Deluxe edition (currently gong for $80). In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer for the Silver Lining below.
