AC Odyssey Goddesses’ Hunt Quest – Daphnae Romance

Kill Daphnae

This ending happens when you pick the option If the gods will it. You’ll get to show respect to Daphnae’s cause and get into combat shortly after. Alternatively, you can choose the second option, There must be another way, followed by If death is what you want.

This is considered the good ending. At the end of it, you’ll get to honor Daphnae’s wishes, as she dies and you become the new leader of the group. This is also the only ending where you fight only one person from the group, and probably the easiest one. Once Daphnae is defeated, the other daughters of Artemis don’t become hostile and the quest is completed. There is a sad ending scene, and an additional line of conversations.

AC Odyssey Kill Daphnae Option

Romance Daphnae

This ending happens once you pick the option There must be another way, followed by I could love you.

You might think this one leads to a happy ending, but it does not. Although you will admit your feelints to Daphnae, even going as far as kissing her, Dahpnae’s vow to Artemis is much stronger. At the end of it, Daphnae will tell you not to return, as she would be forced to kill you. Out of all the options, she seems the most angry with you if you pick this one. Later on, the other daughters of Artemis will become hostile and you’ll need to run.

Leave Daphnae

This ending takes place once you pick the option I won’t fight you.

This is where you decide you will not be the leader of the group. Daphnae calls you a coward and instructs you to leave and not look back. Although she is disappointed in you, it appears she is not as angry as when you choose to kiss her. The other daughters of Artemis will attack you, but as the quest is completed you can just run away.

Article fails to mention after you kill Daphnae, and become leader, all the Artemis huntress camps become free to enter, so are easy to complete, but you then have to murder each camp leader for completion. The nearby main camp also has caves, which are also easier to get inside when no one’s hostile.
So, you should definitely kill her for that, and if you don’t she’s never seen again anyway.

Can you find her even after she said to you that if she sees me again she would kill me?

No, she’s never seen again, and after the dialogue she can’t be interacted with in any way. I tried killing all her nearby clan mates, but after she just grieves for them a bit, but doesn’t fight while you kill them. I was trying to KO her to join my ship. So, definitely just kill her as she wishes.

I killed her and they’re all hostile to me. Bah.

That’s not possible. If you fight her you are leader, and are free to enter all Artemis camps. You can refuse to fight then fight the nearby women, but Daphnae doesn’t fight and can’t be killed then, she probably just wandered off and disappeared.

Gave her all the pelts at once, so I didn’t get to romance her. She was the one I wanted the most so far in my playthrough.

If she gets all pelts at once you see ‘heart’ statements, and if you pick them the meeting ends for intercourse, and you then have to talk to her again. All pelts at once should be ok. Doesn’t change the final outcome really either way.

Completed all kill quests. Am level 40 she told me to meet her on a hill or something and no quest was given to me afterwards. Quest line seems to have disappeared. Am I too low level or ?

Yeah I had the same thing happen, after you turn in the final hunting quest she walks down the hill and you have to talk to her, it’s stupid that it doesn’t automatically give it to you, I think it also appears on your map as an important side quest

Walk down the hill from where she told you to meet her. Use ikaros for help.

Wanted to romance her, but since the devs wanna make it stupidly impossible, then I don’t care to complete her missions

I heard you have to do it so you can get to one of the keys to something you need for a main quest about artifacts ??‍♀️
