Fallout 76 Beta Dates Revealed in New Trailer, Xbox Comes First

Bethesda has revealed the launch dates for the Fallout 76 beta. Xbox One owners will get access to the beta a full week ahead of PC and PlayStation 4 gamers. The dates have been revealed on Bethesda’s website, as well as in a new trailer that shows off the game’s intro, showing us the birth of Vault 76.

Bethesda has released a brand new video for Fallout 76, which shows us the official in-game intro. However, the most interesting part about the video isn’t the footage itself, but the fact that it finally reveals the Fallout 76 beta dates. Bethesda has also confirmed the same dates on their official website. On Xbox One, the Fallout 76 beta will start on Tuesday, October 23rd. One week later, on October 30th, the beta will start on PC and PlayStation 4. So, yeah, Xbox players will have quite the leg-up on the “competition”.

The post further details that the aim of this beta is to stress-test servers to basically the point of breaking. As a result, the servers aren’t going to be online 24/7. They go on to explain: “On any given day the game might be up for anywhere between four to eight hours. Focusing as many players as we can into these windows is our prime objective. Then we’ll fix what we need to fix and do it again and again from the start of B.E.T.A. until a few days before launch.” Of course, the devs are expecting to hear back from you during the beta in order to effectively deal with any issues you might come across.
