Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy "Future Tense" Level Coming This Month
Future Tense is a brand-new level coming to Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. It’s coming out on June 29th, the same date when the remastered trilogy comes out on the PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Of course, the level will be available on all platforms, including the PlayStation 4. Of course, Switch, Xbox, and PC players will also get the Stormy Ascent level DLC.
Back in the days of yore, everyone believed that each console had to have a cartoon mascot. For the PlayStation 1, that was Crash Bandicoot. It was wonderful to watch his triumphant return to the scene with the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for the PlayStation 4. I honestly never expected that the remaster of the first three Crash games would sell so amazingly well. They even added a brand new level which never made it to the original game, Stormy Ascent, as a free piece of DLC.
The game sold so well, that they’ve decided to launch N. Sane Trilogy on other platforms, not just the PlayStation. The game, or rather games, will launch for the Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on June 29th, and it’s already up for pre-orders. And, yes, they’ll also get Stormy Ascent. Not only that, but the developers are also planning to release another whole new level on the same day, called Future Tense. Unlike Stormy Ascent, Future Tense is a whole new level, inspired by a waterfall level built for the first Crash Bandicoot game.
Future tense is basically another ascent-type level. You’ll be climbing up a huge, futuristic skyscraper. All the while, you’ll be avoiding rockets and lasers while stomping on robots. And, if it’s anything like Stormy Ascent, you’d better get ready to go through several controllers and grind your teeth down into a fine mist.
