Let’s start with Red Dead Redemption 2 Special Edition. The additional content you’ll get an extra Bank Robbery mission, as well as a Gang Hideout of the Del Lobos gang. You’ll also get the dappled black thoroughbred mount, along with an exclusive saddle. There’s also the Eagle Talon talisman (environmental awareness skill lasts longer) and the Iguana Scale medallion (less damage while riding on horseback). Also, there’s the Nuevo Paraiso Gunslinger Outfit, free access to three weapons in the story mode (Volcanic Pistol, Pump Action Shotgun and Lancaster Varmint Rifle) and, lastly, “gameplay boosts, cash bonuses & discounts.” This is on top of Red Dead Redemption pre-order bonuses), if you decide to be an early adopter. The only difference is, you’ll get one million GTA bucks instead of half a mil.

Next up, the Ultimate Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2. It will contain all of the stuff from the Special Edition, along with some extra stuff for RDR 2 Online. You’ll get two exclusive outfits for your online characters; the Blackrose Bounty Hunter Outfit and the Copperhead Enforcer Outfit. Oh, and how about a black chestnut thoroughbred race horse with a High Plains cutting saddle? Cause, you’ll get it. You’ll also receive free access to the Survivor Camp theme and the additional weapons mentioned above. Lastly, you’ll get rank bonuses for your online character; more specifically, you’ll rank up faster until you reach rank 25. If you pre-order, you’ll get GTA$2.000.000.

Last, but not least, the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box. It contains a bunch of neat little physical chachkis, and no game. Yes, you only get the little collector’s items; no game or digital content included. I don’t get it either. Here’s what you do get: a metal tithing box with lock & key, a collectable challenge coin, a double-sided 100-piece puzzle, a bandana, and a physical treasure map that will seemingly actually point you towards a treasure in the game. You’ll also get a set of pins, playing cards, twelve cigarette cards, and a Wheeler, Rawson and Co. catalog.
