Origin Access subscribers, rejoice! Eight more games have been added to the list that you can play. And EA is still making use of allowing other studio and publisher games. As far as EA games go, the new one is good old Spore. The other titles include Torment: Tides of Numenera, Mad Max, Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Prison Architect, Ember, and Virginia. It’s a pretty wide variety of all kinds of stuff. True, it’s mostly RPG-heavy, but there’s still a little bit of everything for everyone.

If you’re somehow not familiar with Origin Access, let’s get you up to speed real quick. Basically, this is EA’s subscription service. You pay a certain amount of money, and that gives you streaming access to around a hundred different games. The price is five bucks a month, or thirty bucks for the whole year. The subscription to Origin Access comes with some other perks, too. Members often get to play EA games a couple of days ahead of launch, usually around five days. Plus, you get 10% off on all EA digital content, meaning you get a discount even on full-priced games. It’s not a lot, but still.

Origin also has an Xbox version, called EA Access. It also has an expansive list of free games; well, free if you pay the subscription. Somewhat confusingly, the list of games on EA Access doesn’t completely match the one on Origin Access. So, make sure to go through the whole lists so you don’t miss anything.
