The release of God of War is inching closer and closer. So, of course, we’re learning more and more about it. The latest bit of info (via GameRant) is the download size of God of War. This size will go for both digital and physical copies. And what’s the size? Well, you’ll have to make 45 GB worth of room on your hard drive for God of War. That’s nothing to sniff at, especially if you have a regular PS4 with 500 GB of space.

Speaking of the capacities of the PlayStation, a few days ago, Cory Barlog revealed how God of War will work on the PS4 Pro on Twitter. A fan asked whether or not it would be necessary to upgrade to a PlayStation 4 Pro. Of course, you don’t have to upgrade; the game will work more than fine on the regular PS4. However, if you do have a PS4 Pro, you’ll be able to play God of War in glorious 4K. That is, if you own a 4K TV. If not, you’ll still get more out of God of War. The game will feature Performance Mode. If you select it, the game will run in 1080p, but much smoother and faster. Presumably, that means it will run at 60 fps.

If you do love God of War so much that you’re considering purchasing a PS4 Pro for it, you might want to go the extra mile and pick up the God of War PS4 Pro bundle. That PS4 is decked out with a pretty sweet design of the Leviathan Axe, runes, and so on. It is limited edition, so make sure to get yours in time.
