Detroit: Become Human Release Date Revealed by David Cage

Detroit: Become Human is the upcoming sci-fi game from David Cage. So, yes, another game where you kind of move around and then make choices. With the occasional QTE. I know people play them for the story, I’m just kidding. Detroit: Become Human will be a story about three androids that start to feel emotions, according to the man himself on PlayStation Blog. It’s not the most original story setup in the world, but it’s all about what you do with it.

On the same post, David Cage has announced the release date for the game. We now know that Detroit: Become Human will launch on Friday, May 25th, 2018. So, just a few months away. Cage calls Detroit: Become Human “Quantic Dream’s most ambitious title to date.” He then goes on to give us a little more info about the three androids players will take control of in the game.

There’s Connor, the detective android that we’ve been seeing a lot of in the promo material, who works on cases revolving around other androids. Then we have Kara, who empathizes with a little girl and is persecuted for that. If you’ve seen the controversial home abuse trailer, you know what this is about. Lastly, there’s Markus, who, huge spoiler alert, becomes the leader of the android revolution. You’ll be taking control of the three androids in turn, “taking control of their destinies, and telling not only their individual stories, but also the story of their people and of their world.” If Detroit: Become Human sounds like something you’d enjoy, make sure to mark May 25th on your calendar.
