Xenoblade Chronicles 2 How to Change Voice Acting to Japanese
If you want to change the voice acting language in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 from English to Japanese, you absolutely can. There’s a pretty simple method to do so, while keeping the subtitles, the UI, and everything else in English. If you find the English voice acting not to your liking, all it takes is one visit to the eShop. So, let’s explain how to change voice tracks to Japanese in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has some pretty decent voice acting. That being said, every gamer has their preferences, and some would prefer to listen to the Japanese voice acting. Switching the game to Japanese is as easy as changing the system settings on your Switch. However, doing this will also change the UI and everything else to Japanese. The problem here is that a number of players would prefer to have the Japanese voice track, but keep everything else in English, including the subtitles. Well, fortunately, the developers have thought about this, and they’ve given you the option.
How to Change Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Voice Tracks to Japanese?
To get the Japanese voiceover in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the first thing you need to do is head over to the Nintendo Switch eShop. Then, find the Japanese voice DLC and download it. Said DLC launched together with the game, so it should be in the shop. Once you download it, you’ll be able to hear the characters with their original, Japanese dub, while keeping the UI and subtitles in English. That way, you can have the best of both worlds.

Petty sure I want regret. Lol
Normally I am the first person to flip voices to Japanese, but the English acting in this game is not only rich, but in many ways better than the Japanese. I went back to the English after a few hours and really appreciate the quality of acting.
