The publisher Titan Comics seems to be intent on completely cornering the video game comic book market. They’ve already brought us Dishonored and Dark Souls, as well as The Evil Within and Wolfenstein. All of these filled in gaps in the game’s story, usually as prequels or bridging what happened between titles. The next on the list is Bloodborne, whose first issue will come out in February 2018. Bloodborne: The Death of Sleep will, much like the game, follow the nameless Hunter as they make their way through the horrors of Yharnam.

We’ve yet to see which part in the game’s timeline the comic will cover (before, during, or after the events in the game), but we do know that the adaptation is in good hands. The writer, Ales Kot seems to be a huge fan of the game, saying in a press release: (via Polygon): “Bloodborne is one of my all-time favorite games. I put close to two hundred hours into playing it and researching its universe, and that was before I even knew there would be a comic — I was obsessed. I am honored to be working within the Bloodborne universe …” And, judging by the images of different covers of the first issue, the artist Piotr Kowalski also knows exactly what Bloodborne is all about. You can check them out below (via GamesRadar). In short, if you can’t get enough of Bloodborne, try to stay patient until February!
