Wolfenstein 2 New Colossus PC Requirements Revealed by Bethesda
Bethesda has revealed the minimum and recommended PC system specs for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Depending on your setup, you’ll be able to get quite a bit out of the game. On PC, Wolfenstein 2 offers a bunch of different advanced options, as well.
The launch of Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is just a few short days away. Needless to say, fans of the series can’t wait for the game to drop, but PC gamers have been wondering whether their setups can handle the game. Luckily, Bethesda has revealed the minimum and recommended specs on their official website.
Let’s go over what kind of setup you’ll need to run Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. First off, the minimum system requirements. You’ll need 55 GB of storage,and 8 GB of RAM. The game also requires an Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8350 CPU and up, and a NVIDIA GTX 770 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better GPU. On to the recommended PC specs. Once again, you’ll need 55 GB of storage, but 16 GB of RAM. Also, you’ll need a Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-9370 Cou at least, as well as a NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB GPU. In both cases, the game also requires a Steam account and an Internet connection in order to activate and install the game. That shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. One thing that’s important to note is that AMD GPU drivers don’t support Windows 8.1 anymore.
The PC version of Wolfenstein 2 also boasts a number of advanced settings and features. These include an uncapped framerate, different aspect ratios, a 4K resolution, a field of view slider, various advanced visual settings, full control rebinding, anti-aliasing options, and colorblind modes. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus comes out this Friday, on October 27th, 2017. Other than on PC, you can play it on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There’ll even be a Nintendo Switch version next year.
