Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta Vehicles Datamine Leak
The Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta is hiding a ton of stuff in its code. Dataminers have been combing through it, and finding various little bits and pieces. Among other things, they’ve uncovered several vehicles from the Star Wars universe, such as the landspeeder, Yoda’s Starfighter, the A-Wing and Y-wing, and more.
It’s really no surprise that dataminers have descended on the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta pretty much immediately after it launched. And, wouldn’t you know it, they’ve uncovered a ton of stuff hiding in the code, which Reddit user GarrusValkyrin has been compiling.
Now, let’s see which vehicles lie hidden in the Battlefront 2 Beta code. First off, there’s Yoda’s Starfighter, as seen in the Clone Wars animated series. Then, we have the ARC-170 Starfighter, too. After that, we get two vehicles that are going to be much more familiar to fans of the series – Luke’s X-34 Landspeeder from a New Hope, and the Hoth Fighter from Empire Strikes Back. How will the landspeeder help you in battle? I have no idea. Next up, we’ve got the Alliance U-Wing gunship / troop transporter, and a TIE Fighter. It looks pretty standard, but a second glance reveals that the fighter bears what looks like Inferno Squad insignia. Lastly, we have two classic Rebel Alliance ships from the original trilogy. There’s the A-Wing Interceptor, and the Y-Wing Bomber. As you can see, there’s a bunch of awesome ships that are hiding behind the curtains. And, that’s just the hidden stuff. There’s a ton of vehicles in the game already, such as the Millennium Falcon.
Thanks to the dataminers, you can take a look at some of the images that they manage to extract. Of course, this isn’t exactly what they’ll look like when they’re properly introduced to the game. Still, though, it’s pretty awesome to see the first hints of classic Star Wars vehicles that we’ll be able to pilot in Battlefront 2.
