Call of Duty WW2 Multiplayer Open Beta on PC Begins with Pre-Loads
The Open Multiplayer Beta for Call of Duty: WW2 is coming soon, on September 29th. However, you can pre-load it on your PC starting today, September 26th. Players that participate will be able to try out several multiplayer maps and modes. The single-player campaign isn’t included.
If you’re planning on taking part in the Call of Duty: WWII Open Beta on PC, you can start pre-loading it already via Steam. The Beta itself will start on Friday, September 29th, and end on Monday, October 2nd. Over the weekend, players will be able to test out the many different multiplayer modes and maps that the full game will have to offer once it launches on November 3rd. Unfortunately for those that want to try out missions from the single-player campaign. Still, though, you’ll have the entire weekend to see if Call of Duty: WWII is the game for you.
In the Open Beta, you’ll be able to try out several maps and modes. The maps you can expect to see are Aachen, Gibralter and Pointe du Hoc, and the modes featured Team Death Match, Hardpoint, Domination, and Kill Confirmed. On top of that, you’ll get to try out the fabled Operation Breakpoint map, and play War Mode. All five divisions are open for you, so you can choose whatever you want and try out every aspect of the game.
Of course, if you’re looking forward to playing the CoD WWII Open Beta on PC, you’d better make sure that your setup can handle it. The minimum requirements include an Intel Core i3 3225 CPU or higher, 8 GB of RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB, 25 GB of free hard drive, and, of course, a 64-bit Windows 7 or later.
